About BHU

Banaras Hindu University, earlier well known as Central Hindu College, is a central university in Varanasi, India. Set up in the Year 1916, BHU is the great residential similar to homelike university in Asia and one of the earliest universities with the status of "Institutes of National Importance" by the UGC. It is also one of the 12 institutions from India in BRICS Universities League, a consortium of leading research universities from BRICS countries. BHU Admission 2024
The admission process at BHU is completely online in nature. Students apply for admission to the campus in a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate programs; shortlisting of the aspirants is done through the CUET conducted by the NTA. The institution duly accepts CAT and NATA results for its national-level entrance exams. If we specifically talk about NEET, it accepts it for admission to the programs MBBS/BDS and MBA separately. The last and final selection is done through a counseling process. The registration is started specially in the month of May or June of every year.
