BITS Pilani Admission Current Year
BITS Pilani admission 2024 is open for all programs through its university entrance test.
The varsity conducts BITSAT in two sessions for admission to BE, B.Pharm and MSc programmes. It holds Session 1 and Session 2 tests in May and June separately.
It conducts the BITS Higher Degree online test for ME and M. Pharm and also accepts GATE and GPAT scores separately.
For MBA, BITS conducts a Business Analytics Admission Test, and the final admission is offered based on performance in BAAT, personal interview, of CAT/ XAT scores, work experience, and academic history.
Other Modes of admission for BE, B.Pharm and M.Sc programs:
Board Toppers: The Institute shall offer direct admission to first rank students of all the central and state boards to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score. While the first rank student in PCM stream will be considered for admission to any of the first degree programmes of his/her choice, the first rank holder of PCB stream shall be considered for admission to B. Pharm. programme only.
International Students' Admission: Candidates with foreign passports and valid SAT scores are eligible to apply for admission. Such candidates will not be required to appear for the BITSAT. Candidate should have a minimum aggregate score of 1160 (out of a maximum of 1600) in SAT (reasoning) (new format) which includes a Reading Test, Writing and Language Test and Math test.
BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy: Candidates appearing in BITSAT can also opt for the BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy mode of admission. They will receive two degrees that are awarded separately and simultaneously from both Universities, that is, BITs, Pilani and RMIT Australia.
